GET MY FREE TICKET

The NCMA African art collection has experienced unprecedented growth since the hiring of its first full-time curator in 2018. Join Amanda Maples as she highlights several new acquisitions—historic and contemporary—and discusses some of the exciting changes to the African art gallery that challenge preconceptions about African art and art history.

Is there a nonprofit near and dear to your heart that could benefit from increasing their capacity? Has the pandemic dramatically changed how that nonprofit uses volunteers, but they don’t know how to do it? The Triangle Nonprofit and Volunteer Leadership Center (TNLVC) is offering Service Enterprise Training, a sixteen-hour program that will help you revamp or create your volunteer program as we enter the “new normal”. And to top it off, Governor Cooper awarded SEI a training grant that greatly reduces the cost to nonprofits that wish to participate! The program begins in February and space is limited, so register now!

For more information and to register, visit their website at Volunteer Center - Meet Us (thevolunteercenter.org)

An overview of the program is attached and can be found at this link:  Microsoft PowerPoint - SEI Training Info v11.pptx (ez-host2.com)

Virtual Farm Day
You are invited to join us for a virtual farm tour where you will learn more about our mission, hear from our founder and see where our program takes place. Our farm days are a great first step to better understand our mission before joining our herd as a volunteer or supporter in your unique way! Typically, our farm days are held on the farm, but we are prioritizing safety for everyone while COVID-19 remains a threat. Please register.
